Immaculata University men's soccer team shutdown Gwynedd-Mercy College 1-0 in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) opener on Tuesday, September 11, in Draper Walsh Stadium.

Senior Kieran Kellan scored the only goal of the contest unassisted at 37:45.  Junior goalkeeper Jimmy Casper collected seven saves and kept the Griffins off the board to earn his first career shutout.  Joe Schneider registered 12 saves in the loss for Gwynedd-Mercy (2-3, 0-1 PAC).

Immaculata outshot the Griffins 18-9, but Gwynedd-Mercy held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.

The Mighty Macs (2-1, 1-0) return to action on Saturday, September 15, when they host Delaware Valley College.  Kick-off is set for 3:30 pm.
