Mighty Macs Stop The Pacers

Junior Kyle Finklea recorded a career-high 32 points to lead Immaculata University to a 75-62 victory over Marywood University in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday, December 1, in Scranton, PA.

Sophomore Jayson Hyman collected a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while senior Rob Jones amassed 10 points and eight rebounds.  Junior Julius Lopez registered nine points off the bench.

The Mighty Macs took an eight-point lead (36-28) into the half after shooting 46.9-percent from the floor.  Finklea led Immaculata with 11 points in the first half in the opening stanza.

The Pacers would trim the Mighty Macs lead to five after a Karl Anderson lay-up early in the second half, but that was as close as Marywood would come as Immaculata stayed hot from the floor, shooting 50 percent in the second half.

Prince Blacknall led the Pacers with 21 points, while Matthew Medici totaled a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
