Mighty Macs Slow Down Pacers

Immaculata University men's soccer team defeated Marywood University 1-0, in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Wednesday, October 10, in Scranton, PA.  The Mighty Macs improve their unbeaten to four games.

Junior, and current PAC Player of the Week selection, Gio DeMartini scored the game-winner off a corner kick from freshman Kevin Glenn at 49:56.  He was able to settle the corner kick and re-direct the shot off a defender into the net to give Immaculata the win.

Sophomore Stone Gahagan collected three saves to record his second shutout of the season.  Daniel Reynolds totaled seven saves in the net for the Pacers.

The Mighty Macs (7-5-1, 2-2-1 PAC) outshot Marywood 15-8 and held a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Immaculata returns to action on Saturday, October 13, when they travel to face Misericordia University.  Kick-off is set for 1 pm.
