Finklea's Career High Propels Immaculata to 69-58 Win Over Marywood

Sophomore Kyle Finklea recorded a career-high 29 points, as Immaculata University defeated Marywood University 69-58, in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday, January 27, in Scranton, PA.

Finklea led all scorers with his career high, while junior Robert Jones added 10 points and seven rebounds. Sophomore Dan Lepone totaled nine points and seven rebounds, while freshman Jayson Hyman amassed seven points and five rebounds.

With the score tied 23-23 with 3:25 left in the first half, the Mighty Macs (6-11, 6-4 PAC) held the Pacers scoreless until the 17:16 mark of the second half, a stretch of seven minutes. Immaculata used a 20-5 run during that time to post a 43-28 lead, the largest of the game, at 14:39 of the second half. Marywood was able to pull within seven, 58-51, with 4:47 remaining, but the Mighty Macs held them to only seven points down the stretch to collect the 69-58 victory.

Adam Wildasin led the Pacers (5-14, 2-10) with 16 points, while Matt Johnson added nine points and 10 rebounds.

Immaculata returns to action on Monday, January 29, when they host Neumann College. Tip-off is set for 8 pm.
