Immaculata Wins Third Straight Conference Game

Sophomore Kyle Finklea recorded a game-high 24 points, as Immaculata University posted its third straight Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) win with a 89-74 victory over Marywood University on Saturday, January 20, in Alumnae Hall.

Junior Robert Jones collected a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while freshman Jayson Hyman recorded 17 points. Sophomore Dan Lepone poured in 14 points, while Finklea added three steals and three assists.

Trailing 22-15 with 9:08 left in the first half, the Mighty Macs finished the opening stanza on a 27-11 run to take a 42-33 lead into halftime. The Pacers were able to pull within 56-51, with 12:52 remaining, but Immaculata went on an 11-4 run to grab a 70-55 lead with 9:15 left. The Mighty Macs held on for an 89-74 victory.

Adam Wildasin led Marywood (5-11, 2-7 PAC) with 22 points, while Joe Buczko collected 15 points and eight rebounds.

Immaculata returns to action on Monday, January 22, when they face Wesley College, in Dover, Delaware. Tip-off is set for 8 pm.
