Immaculata Falls In PAC Playoffs

Immaculata University men's soccer team fell to Eastern University 9-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2006 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) playoffs on Tuesday, October 31, in St. David's, PA.

The Eagles (13-5-1) held a 1-0 lead at the half, but quickly extended it to 4-0 with goals at 50:37, 53:14 and 59:24. Eastern's Kieran Keelan and Lance Burris each recorded two goals and an assist in the game.

Sophomore Alan Lorentz paced the Mighty Macs with two shots. Freshmen goalkeepers Christopher Rolan and Stone Gahagan collected two and three saves, respectively.

Immaculata finished the 2006 campaign with its first-ever berth in the conference playoffs and a record of 7-11.
