Jill Holdren

Jill Holdren, who will enter her fifth season as the Mighty Macs' women's volleyball coach in 2018, has added the title of Immaculata's first men's volleyball head coach when the team begins competition during the 2018-19 academic year.

Holdren will be focused on the recruitment of student-athletes for the men's volleyball team during 2017-18. She will be attending local and regional events, as well as spending time on campus meeting with potential student-athletes.

Holdren has completed four seasons as the women's volleyball mentor compiling a 50-45 overall and 26-18 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) record. She has helped guide the Mighty Macs to the CSAC playoffs during all four seasons, including two appearances in the semifinals.

Holdren was honored as the CSAC Coach of the Year during her first campaign with the Mighty Macs in 2014. Immaculata posted an overall record of 18-9, marking a program record for victories in a single season. The following season, the Mighty Macs had a program-best 8-3 mark in CSAC matches to secure the fourth seed in the CSAC Tournament, and advance to the semifinal round.

Immaculata players have earned 10 All-CSAC honors during Holdren's first three seasons, including five second team selections.

Immaculata's women's team has also been honored for its academic achievements garnering the CSAC Team Academic Award in 2014, and been recognized with the AVCA Team Academic Award during each of the last three years.

Holdren served as an assistant women's volleyball coach at the NCAA Division II level at nearby West Chester University for seven seasons before joining Immaculata. Holdren's duties as an assistant with the Golden Rams included running practices and assisting with game strategy, assisting with the recruitment of student-athletes, and various duties related to student-athlete academics and team travel.

Aside from collegiate coaching, Holdren is actively involved with the Delaware United Volleyball Club where she has coached different teams for the past 10 years.

Holdren played collegiately for four seasons at Wilkes University as a starting middle hitter. During her senior year of 2005, Holdren played in every set and was second on the team in kills (271) while leading the Colonels in service aces (56).  She graduated from Wilkes in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology.
