Lisa Parsons

Lisa Parsons was tabbed as the head coach of the Immaculata women's soccer program in February 2012.  She completed her fourth season as the head coach in 2015. Parsons joined the Mighty Macs after being involved in women's soccer at the NCAA Division I level for five seasons as a student-athlete and strength and conditioning coach.
 
In four seasons, Parsons has guided the Mighty Macs to one playoff appearance and a 16-48-7 record.

In her second season at the helm of the women's soccer team in 2013, Parsons guided the Mighty Macs back to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) postseason with an overall record of 7-10-2 and a CSAC mark of 6-3-2.  The Mighty Macs were seeded sixth in the conference and fell 2-0 in the Quarterfinals to Neumann.  It was the most conference victories for Immaculata since 2009.  Four players were named to the All-CSAC team with three earning Second Team and 13 players were named to the 2013 CSAC Fall All-Academic Team.  The Mighty Macs also claimed the Women's Soccer CSAC Team Academic Award for having the highest team GPA amongst member institutions.
 
In her first season in charge of the women’s soccer program at Immaculata, the Mighty Macs went 3-12-2 with a 3-6-2 mark in CSAC play in 2012.  She mentored Second Team All-CSAC member Bridget Cunningham while 14 women’s soccer players made the 2012 Fall CSAC All-Academic Team.  In 2014, her third season, the Mighty Macs went 3-13-1 with a 3-7-1 mark in CSAC play.  They placed 15 team members on the 2014 CSAC Fall All-Academic Team.
 
In 2014, the team went 3-13-1 with a 3-7-1 CSAC record, and then followed that up with a similar 3-13-2 2015 campaign and an identical 3-7-1 mark in CSAC play.  Parsons guided junior Carly Mirarchi to an Honorable Mention All-CSAC honor.

In the spring of 2011, Parsons worked closely with the University of California San Diego's women's soccer team, working specifically in the development of the team's strength and conditioning training program. In addition, Parsons has experience with professional, collegiate, high school, and beginner athletes in off-court and away from the field training.

Parsons was a four-year letterwinner in women's soccer at the University of Delaware from 2005-08. She started 62 of the 70 matches she appeared in during her collegiate career for the Blue Hens on defense. She also recorded one goal and five assists during her four seasons. Parsons helped the squad advance to the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) semifinal round in 2005. She was also tabbed to the Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll in 2007 and 2008.

A local product, Parsons is a West Chester, Pa., native who attended nearby Bishop Shanahan High School, where she was a four-year member of the soccer team. She earned All-Ches-Mont, All-Area and All-Southeastern Pennsylvania honors, and helped the Eagles to the Southern Chester County League championship in 2003.

In addition to receiving her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware, she also received her master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2011. Parsons is currently an adjunct faculty member at Immaculata University in the Exercise Science program.
