Delanie McPeak of the Immaculata Women's Swimming Team is our Mighty Mac of the Week.
Delanie McPeak helped lead Immaculata to a fourth-place team finish in the Atlantic East Conference Championships this weekend in St. Mary's City, MD. McPeak set individual program records in four events, earning two individual event silver medals. She finished fourth in the 200-yard IM with a program record time of 2:20.04. McPeak broke the 200-yard IM record twice, setting the record in the preliminary round with a time of 2:22.83, before breaking it a second time in the finals. She earned a silver medal in the 400-yard IM with a program record time of 5:01.37. She won a silver medal in the 200-yard breaststroke with a program record time of 2:36.55. She also set a program record in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.11 swimming the first leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay.
McPeak was a member of three relay teams that set program records during the championships. The 200-yard medley relay team set a program record of 1:58.09, the 200-yard freestyle relay team set a program record of 1:47.27, and the 400-yard freestyle relay team won the bronze medal with a program record time of 3:56.04.
