Theresa Kearney was exceptional for the Mighty Macs this week as she averaged 28.5 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per contest over the course of two games opposite rival Gwynedd Mercy. In the first game of the season on Thursday night, Kearney poured in 22 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the field while also coming away with seven rebounds on the road opposite the Griffins. The Mighty Macs returned home on Friday to host Gwynedd Mercy on senior night and Kearney turned in the top performance of her career. The senior was an impressive 13-of-21 from the field including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc to score a career-high 35 points. In addition to her scoring, Kearney came away with 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the young season. Kearney, who entered the season with 1,066 career points concluded her brief 2020-21 season with 1,123 points, which moved her into 17th all-time in career scoring up from 19th at the beginning of the season.
