Men's basketball sophomore Mike Piekarski was tabbed Mighty Mac of the Week on Monday, January 23.
Piekarski had a strong week for Immaculata as they went 1-1 to move to 6-4 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC). He averaged 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 2.0 steals per game, all while the Mighty Macs held Gwynedd Mercy and Cairn to 38% shooting from the field. Piekarski also had a good week on the offensive end with 13.5 points per contest.
In a 77-61 victory against the Highlanders on Saturday, he pulled down six rebounds, had three steals, and a career-high four blocks.
