Immaculata sophomore women's tennis player Lauren Degnan was named the Mighty Mac of the Week on Monday, September 22, for her perfect performance in Immaculata's 2-1 week.

Degnan had a big week going 3-0 at first singles play and 1-0 in first doubles action to help IU go 2-1 last week. Against Penn State Berks, she won 6-4, 6-4 in straight sets, and against Notre Dame she cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory. On Saturday at Marywood, she earned a tough three-set win over Megan Nastelli, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1. In doubles, she partnered with Emily Degnan and won 8-2 against Notre Dame.
