Joseph DeFlores is in his first year as an assistant athletic trainer for the Mighty Macs in 2026-27. He was hired on June 22, 2026.
DeFlores came to Immaculata from Ivy Rehab Network in Newtown Square, Pa. He served as a physical therapy aide for nearly two years.
DeFlores' previous clinical experiences included Upper Merion Area High School in fall 2024, West Chester University track & field in spring 2025, Lehigh University football in fall 2025 (during an undefeated regular season, where Lehigh won the Patriot League football championship), a second clinical rotation at West Chester for men's basketball in spring 2026, and with Villanova University baseball for the end of spring 2026.
DeFlores helped as a golf instructor for the Chester County Boys & Girls Club golf clinic in July 2022-23.
DeFlores played high school varsity golf at Nazareth Area High School in Nazareth, Pa. and played in various community leagues for football, baseball, basketball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, and cross country.
DeFlores earned his B.S. in Sports Medicine Studies at West Chester University in Dec. 2024. He continued his education at West Chester through 2026 to complete his M.S. in Athletic Training.
In his free time, DeFlores' hobbies include making music, loving my cat, Jack, and watching the New York Knicks.
