Biography
Misc.: Alex is in his third campaign as part of the track and field team … majoring in Athletic Training.
Outdoor 2015: Competed five times, three times in the discus and twice in the javelin … Logged three top-10 finishes, two inside the top-five … Had his best mark and finish of the season in the discus in third place at the CSAC Invitational (5/3/15) with a toss of 35.65 meters … Had his best finish and mark in the javelin at the CSAC Invitational (5/3/15) with a throw of 45.49 meters and finish in fourth … Also placed eight in the javelin with a mark of 44.13 meters at the GMU Twilight Invite (4/15/15).
Outdoor 2014: Threw the discus five times and the javelin four times in his second season … Had the top four javelin tosses on the team … Finished inside the top-10 six times … Had the team’s best throw in the discus and his best finish of the season in third at the CSAC Quad Invite with a throw of 32.25 meters … Came in seventh at the WCU Collegiate Invite with a toss of 31.84 meters … Placed ninth at the WCU Open with a throw of 31.75 meters … Had his best javelin throw at the WCU Open with a distance of 41.23 meters to place ninth … Came in seventh at the WCU Collegiate Invite with a distance of 38.94 meters … Had his best finish in the javelin at the CSAC Quad Invite in fifth with a throw of 38.83 meters.
Outdoor 2013: Had the top three discus throws on the team and the two best javelin throws to give him two top-10s on the season … Topped the 100-foot mark in discus at the WCU Open to finish in 12th with a 100-foot, 6-inch throw … Came in eighth at the Mid-Week Twilight with a throw of 93 feet, 11 inches … In javelin, had his best distance of 131 feet, 11 inches for a ninth place finish at the Mid-Week Twilight … Equaled his ninth place finish at the WCU Open with a throw of 125 feet, 6 inches.
High School: Participated in outdoor track and field all four years at Lenape, while being part of the indoor track and field team for two seasons … also participated in football and roller hockey.
