Tim Gunn, currently the assistant coach at Immaculata College, coaches Teams at UnCommon Baseball Academy, and assists in running the Narberth American Legion Baseball Program. Tim is a scout for the Baseball Factory and is the lead Hitting Instructor at Top Gunn Baseball.
Previous coaching stops for Gunn include Ursinus College, Swarthmore College, Arcadia University, and St.Joseph’s University.
Gunn was an assistant coach in the Coastal Plains collegiate league in 2004 for the league runner up Outer Banks Daredevils squad. In 2005 Gunn spent the summer as an assistant for the Brewster Whitecaps in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League.
He also served as Head Coach of the baseball program at both Lower Merion High School and Germantown Friends School.
Gunn’s playing days were spent at Saint Joseph’s University where he was a three-year starter at first base. He finished his career in the top 10 all-time in hits, doubles, home runs and RBI. He hit .325 with seven home runs and 16 doubles as a senior. Gunn spent his prep years at St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia where he played in the Carpenter Cup for three seasons and was named first-team All-City as a Senior.
Gunn received his Master's degree from Arcadia in 2004.
