Misc: Richard begins his third campaign with the baseball team … majoring in Criminology.

2011: Saw action in eight games offensively … had 17 showings on the mound … drew one starting assignment  in the field and two on the mound … posted 4-0 record on the mound with 6.92 earned run average…allowed 28 hits across 26 innings of work…struck out 24…limited opponents to a .283 batting average…earned first win of the season against Marywood in 1.1 innings striking out one and walking one….picked up win against Philadelphia Biblical in four innings striking out a season high seven batters and did not allow a single hit…other wins came against Neumann and Gwynedd-Mercy.

2010: Saw action in 25 games offensively … had 12 appearances on the mound … drew 23 starting assignments and three on the pitcher’s mound … batted .318 with two doubles, one home run, 14 runs scored and 10 runs batted in … collected 20 walks as well … finished with .394 slugging percentage and .473 on-base mark … topped team in on-base percentage … listed third in hitting percentage and walks … went 3-for-4 with a run scored and one batted in against Philadelphia Biblical … posted two-hit efforts in the other two contests against the Crimson Eagles for a total of seven in the three-game series … went 2-for-2, including lone home run of the season, with three runs scored and a season-best three batted in during opener with Philadelphia Biblical … notched other two-hit showings against Marywood and twice opposite Neumann … posted 1-3 record on pitcher’s mound with 8.05 earned run average … picked up two saves … allowed 36 hits across 34.2 innings of work … struck out 29 and walked 31 … limited opponents to .269 batting average … served as Immaculata’s starting pitcher against Lynchburg, Centenary and Wesley … picked up first college win with 4.2 strong innings against Lancaster Bible … only allowed one Chargers’ hit and struck out a season-high six batters … secured the win against Gwynedd-Mercy allowing just one hit and striking out one during the final inning against the Griffins. 

High School: Four-year member of the Thomas Stone baseball team … selected to the 2009 All-Met team at second base … 2009 First Team All-SMAC selection as a pitcher and earned the league MVP award … was a second team All-SMAC choice in 2008 at second base.
