Misc.: Xavier completed his first season as a member of the men’s track & field team … Also plays men’s tennis … Majoring in Criminology.
Outdoor 2018: First Team All-CSAC in the decathlon … Earned CSAC Field Athlete of the week once … Competed 14 times in a number of different events as the most versatile athlete on the squad … Won the decathlon at the CSAC Championships (5/6/18) becoming the first Mighty Mac to do so … Placed first in his only attempt at the pole vault on the season with a mark of 11-feet, 11.75-inches at the Blue Jay Invitational (4/28/18) … Came in 27th in his only discus attempt at the Shippensburg Invitational (4/18/18) with a mark of 81-feet, 3-inches … Threw the shot put once and placed 22nd at the GMU Twilight Invite (4/11/18) with a 32-foot, 9.75-inch mark … Placed 21st in the javelin at the Towson Invitational (4/14/18) with a mark of 99-feet, 11-inches … Had the best two marks on the team in the long jump … Placed third at the Blue Jay Invitational with a leap of 20-feet, 6.50-inches and 13th at the Widener Invitational (4/21/18) with a mark of 20-feet, 5-inches … Placed second in the high jump in his only attempt at the Blue Jay Invitational with a mark of 5-feet, 9.75-inches … Ran the 4x100-meter relay three times and helped the team finish inside the top-five on all three occasions … Placed third twice at the Shippensburg Invitational with a mark of 47.44 seconds and helped with the best time on the season at the Blue Jay Invitational with a 45.14 … Ran the 400 once at the GMU Twilight Invite and finished 18th with a 57.88 … Placed ninth in the 110 meter hurdles at the Shippensburg Invitational with a 17.95 … Had the top time in the 100 of 11.95 seconds to place 53rd at the Widener Invitational.
Indoor 2017-18: Competed six times in three different events … Was the team’s top pole vaulter and long jumper, logging five top-10 finishes … Placed second with a mark of 14-feet, 5.25-inches at the Golden Bear Invitational (1/12/18) in the pole vault … Finished third with a 13-feet, 11.25-inches at the Fast Times At Lehigh (12/9/17) and fifth at the Frank Colden Invitational (2/3/18) with a mark of 13-feet, 5.25-inches … Had his best mark in the long jump with a 20-feet, 0.50-inch leap at the Fast Times At Lehigh (12/9/17) to finish 20th … Finished seventh at the Golden Bear Invitational (1/12/18) with a 19-feet, 10.25-inch jump … Placed ninth in the shot put with a mark of 32-feet, 3.50-inches at the Albright Invitational.
High School: Participated in the pole vault, long jump, high jump, and sprints at Kennett High School for three years … A National Emerging Elite Pole Vault Medalist … Varsity captain his final two seasons … The top performer his junior season, a Chesmont champion, district, state and national qualifier, as well as a district medalist … Played football for one season as well.
