Men’s Swimming Set to Close Regular Season vs. Arcadia on Saturday

WHAT TO KNOW

The Immaculata men's swimming team (3-6, 1-3 AEC) returns to the Alumnae Hall Pool for their final home meet, and their regular season finale against Arcadia at 1 p.m.
Immaculata enters Saturday's meet after competing in a tri-meet at Widener on Wednesday falling to Lebanon Valley and the host Widener.
Arcadia (4-4, 4-2 MAC) enters Saturday's meet after defeating Widener 170-90 on February 16.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday will be the fifth meeting between Immaculata and Arcadia in a series that began in 2019.
Immaculata is 0-4 all-time vs Arcadia.

LAST MEETING

Immaculata fell to Arcadia 212-20 in their last meeting on January 26, 2025, at Arcadia.
Zach Crawford finished third in 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:01.43, and her finished third in 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.25 for Immaculata.

MIGHY MAC NOTES

Aidan Gall led the Mighty Macs with a second-place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle (14:21.53) and added a fourth place showing in the 100-yard butterfly (1:22.33). He also swam on the 200-yard medley relay team.
Mike DeMattei delivered strong sprint performances, placing second in the 100-yard freestyle (52.22) and third in the 50-yard freestyle (24.44). He also led off the 200-yard medley relay.
Connor Ferguson finished fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.91) and fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.90), while contributing to the medley relay effort.
Lain Weitzel competed in both sprint freestyle events, finishing seventh in the 50-yard freestyle (28.59) and seventh in the 100-yard freestyle (1:05.59). He also swam the anchor leg of the medley relay.

The Immaculata men's swimming team will be back in action from February 12-15 when they travel to St. Mary's College of Maryland for the Atlantic East Conference Swimming Championships in St. Mary's, Md.
