CENTER VALLEY, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team fell to DeSales 6-1 in their non-conference match on Tuesday afternoon. DeSales won all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead into the singles competition. DeSales would win five out of six singles matches to win the overall match 6-1. Nicholas Brown earned Immaculata's lone victory winning the second singles match 2-6, 7-5, 12-10. With the loss, Immaculata falls to 1-7 overall, and 0-2 in AEC play. DeSales improves to 2-7 overall, and 0-0 in MAC Freedom play.

How it Happened 

Doubles 

• The first doubles team of Nicholas Fleming and Nicholas Brown lost their match 3-6. 

• The second doubles team of Mike DeMattei and Ryan Muckle lost their match 3-6. 

• The third doubles team of Lucas Lau and Dylan Fitzgibbon lost their match 0-6. 

• DeSales led 1-0 after the double matches. 

Singles 

• Nicholas Fleming lost the first singles match 1-6, 1-6, 

• Nicholas Brown won the second singles match 2-6, 7-5, 12-10. 

• Lucas Lau lost the third singles match 1-6, 1-6. 

• Ryan Muckle lost the fourth singles match 0-6, 3-6. 

• Mike DeMattei lost the fifth singles match 1-6, 7-6 (7-4), 6-10. 

• Dylan Fitzgibbon lost the sixth singles match 1-6, 2-6. 

• DeSales won five out six singles matches to win the overall match 6-1.
