MEDIA, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team defeated Penn State Brandywine 6-1 in their non-conference match on Tuesday afternoon. Immaculata won two out of three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead in the match. The Mighty Macs won five out of six singles matches to earn the 6-1 victory. With their win Immaculata improves to 1-5 overall and is 0-1 in Atlantic East Conference play. Penn State Brandywine falls to 0-5 overall and they are 0-0 in United East Conference play.

Doubles

• The first doubles team of Nicholas Fleming and Nicholas Brown won their match 6-3.
• The second doubles team of Ryan Muckle and Mike DeMattei lost their match 2-6.
• The third doubles team of Lucas Lau and Dylan Fitzgibbon won their match via forfeit.
• Immaculata led 1-0 after the double's competition.

 
Singles

• Nicholas Fleming won the first singles match 6-3, 6-2.
• Nicholas Brown won the second singles match 6-3, 6-3.
• Ryan Muckle lost the third singles match 2-6, 3-6.
• Mike DeMattei won the fourth singles match 6-2, 6-1.
