THIS WEEK IN IU ATHLETICS
 
IMMACULATA, Pa. – As the regular season winds down, Immaculata University's fall athletic teams are diving into the heart of Atlantic East Conference (AEC) play. With just a few matchups remaining, Women's Volleyball is the only fall squad with a non-conference game still on the calendar.
 
Here is what is ahead this week:
 
The action kicks off on Wednesday, with a doubleheader at Draper Walsh Stadium. The Field Hockey team hosts defending AEC Champion Marywood at 4 p.m., and Women's Soccer hosts Neumann at 7 p.m. Men's Soccer will be on the road at Neumann at 7 p.m.
 
Friday marks the beginning of winter sports, as Men's and Women's Swimming opens their season at Elizabethtown for a tri-meet with Elizabethtown and Goucher.
 
Saturday is packed with home action as the Swimming teams return to the Alumnae Hall Pool for their home opener vs Moravian at 1 p.m. Men's Soccer host Gwynedd Mercy at Draper Walsh Stadium in an AEC match, and Women's Volleyball will host Marywood at Alumnae Hall at 1 p.m. in an AEC match. Field Hockey and Women's Soccer have important AEC games at Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday.
