ASTON, Pa.- The Immaculata University men's tennis team fell to Neumann University in the Atlantic East Conference semifinals by the score of 5-2 at Neumann on Friday afternoon.

In doubles action, Jason Watts and Troy Watts won the first doubles match 8-3. Jeremy Brown and Nicholas Fleming lost the second doubles match 2-8. Nicholas Brown and Alex Polidoro lost the third doubles match 7-8 (5-7).

In singles action, Jason Watts won the first singles match in straight sets 6-2, 6-4. Jason Watts ends the season having won his final six singles matches, all in straight sets. Nicholas Fleming lost the third singles match 0-6, 3-6. Jeremy Brown lost this fourth singles match 2-6, 0-6, and Alex Polidoro lost the sixth singles match 1-6, 1-6. Troy Watts was even at one set apiece in the second singles match, and Nicholas Brown was winning one set to none, when their matches were stopped since Neumann had already clinched the match winning 5-2. Coming into today's match, Nicholas Brown had won his last six singles matches all in straight sets.

The Immaculata men's tennis team has now completed their season with an overall record of 4-8 and 1-2 record in Atlantic East Conference play.
