IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata University men's tennis team (2-6, 0-1 Atlantic East) was back in action on Monday afternoon defeating Penn State – Brandywine 6-3 at the IU Tennis Courts.
In the doubles,
Jason Watts and
Troy Watts won the first doubles match 8-3.
Jeremy Brown and
Nicholas Fleming won the second doubles match 8-4.
Nicholas Brown and
Alex Polidoro lost the third doubles match 6-8 as Immaculata led 2-1 heading into the singles matches.
Jason Watts won the first singles match in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.
Troy Watts rallied from a set down to win the second singles match 4-6, 6-4, 10-6.
Nicholas Fleming lost the third singles match 2-6, 6-7 (3-7).
Jeremy Brown won the fourth singles match in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
Nicholas Brown won fifth singles in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.
Alex Polidoro lost the sixth singles match 3-6, 3-6. Immaculata would win the match 6-3.
Matthew Sabat Jr. won the seventh singles match 8-3.
