DOYLESTOWN,Pa.- The Immaculata women's lacrosse team took down Delaware Valley by a score of 17-6 this evening on the road.

The Mighty Macs put up nine first quarter goals and never looked back, as they led from wire to wire in the contest. Four Mighty Macs scored in the opening quarter, with
Cara Strickland,
Kaitlyn Klitchko,
Ava Hoffman and
Jacki Murray all finding the back of the net.

Klitchko and Murray both had six points on the night to lead Immaculata, the former had six goals while the latter had four goals and a pair of assists.
Ava Hoffman tied a career high with three goals on the evening. Sophomore
Cara Strickland set a new personal best with her two goals in the match as well.
Liza Laxton added one goal to go along with four assists while
Tessa Liberatoscioli had a goal and a trio of assists.

Abigail Guarneri continued her stellar play in goal with seven saves on the night. The Mighty Macs caused six Aggie turnovers while collecting 29 ground balls.

The Immaculata women's lacrosse team is back in action on Saturday, March 16
th with a 1:00 PM matchup when they travel to DeSales. Â
