ST. MARY'S CITY, Md.- Following the first day of the Atlantic East Conference Swimming Championships, the Immaculata University women's swim team sits in fourth place with 58 points. The Immaculata men's swim team sits in sixth place with 28 points.
Both the women's and men's teams broke a program record this evening. The women's 800-yard freestyle relay team set a program record, and the men's 200-yard medley relay team set a program record.

In the women's 200-yard medley relay, the team of Veronica Pietrewicz, Kaitlynne Chenard, Jessica Kiederling, and Ella Hellyer finished seventh with a time of 2:27.51.
In the women's 800-yard freestyle relay, the team of Elizabeth Ferguson, Emily Meyer, Joella Moyer, and Colleen Blakelock finished fourth with an Immaculata program record time of 8:52.86 breaking the previous record time by ten seconds.
In the men's 200-yard medley relay, the team of Antonio Antonelli, Christian Batley, Gabriel Bocaj, and Nicky Antonelli, finished fifth with an Immaculata program record time of 1:44.32 breaking the previous record by three seconds.
