THE STORYLINE 

• The Immaculata men's and women's swimming teams are back in action on Saturday, when they visit Moravian for a dual meet on Saturday. 

• Both the Immaculata men's and women's team will enter Saturday's meet in search of their first win of the season. 

• Both Moravian teams will be swimming in their first match of the season on Saturday. 

THE SERIES 

• These two schools are meeting for the fourth time in their series that began back in 2022. 

• The Immaculata men's and women's teams are both 3-0 all-time vs Moravian 

THEIR LAST MEETING 

• The Immaculata men's team defeated Moravian 101-48 and the Immaculata's women's team defeated Moravian 130-41 on October 28, 2023, in the first home meets held at the Alumnae Hall Swimming Pool. 

MIGHTY MAC MEN'S NOTES 

• Gabriel Bocaj finished first in 200-yard Freestyle, touching the wall in 1:52.59. He also finished first in the 100-yard Butterfly with a time of 0:59.0 in the meet vs Juniata. 

• Mike DeMattei won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:14.51 and won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.40 against Juniata. 

• Zach Crawford won the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:14.73 and took second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:18.21 against Juniata. 

• Lucas Lau finished second in the 50-freestyle with a time of 0:26.16 and took second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.62 against Juniata 

• Aidan Gall finished fourth in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 7:22.22, and fifth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 0:32.20 against Juniata. 

• Immaculata won the 200-yard Freestyle Relay with a time of1:38.32, as the team of Gabriel Bocaj, Lucas Lau, Mike DeMattei and Zach Crawford beat out the Juniata relay team by seven seconds. 

MIGHTY MAC WOMEN'S NOTES 

• Keira Wiley broke an IU program record in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:04.47. Wiley won the 200-yard Freestyle behind a time of 2:10.89.  

• Delanie McPeak won the 200-yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:27.69. McPeak also won the 100-yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:18.59 

• Ashley Batejan won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.93. Batejan finished second in 50-yard freestyle with a time of 0:28.26. 

• Liz Ferguson finished second in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:11.02. Ferguson finished second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:12.11. 

• Joella Moyer finished third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 0:29.50 and finished third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:04.06. 

• The Immaculata 200-yard Medley Relay team of Ashley Batejan, Delanie McPeak, Keira Wiley, and Joella Moyer broke an IU program record with a time of 2:03.19. The team of Jess Kiederling, Jess Callahan, Madeline Casale, and Bell Hernandez finished third with a time of 2:47.35. 

• The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Madeline Casale, Valeska Buestan, Ava McEntire, and Jess Callahan finished third with a time of 2:34.55. 

UP NEXT 

• The Immaculata men's and women's swimming teams will return home to the Alumnae Hall Pool on Saturday, November 16th at 1:00 pm. 

• The women's team will compete in a tri-meet with Cedar Crest and St. Mary's College of Maryland. 

• The men's team will compete in a dual meet with St. Mary's College of Maryland.
