Women's Swimming Falls to Elizabethtown and Goucher in Tri-Meet

BALTIMORE, Md.- The Immaculata women's swimming team (0-2) dropped both matches in their season opening tri-match falling to Elizabethtown 161-87, and to the host Goucher 123-111 on Friday evening.

Despite the team results, Immaculata had good performances from veteran swimmers, and many of their new team members had good performances tonight.

The 200-yard relay team of Ashley Batejan, Delanie McPeak, Keira Wiley, and Joella Moyer finished 2^nd with a time of 2:04.43. The team of Jessica Kiederling, Jess Callahan, Madeline Casale, and Bella Hernandez finished 4^th with a time of 2:32.40.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Ashley Batejan, Madeline Casale, Liz Ferguson, and Joella Moyer finished 3^rd with a time of 1:57.50. The team of Bella Hernandez, Nessa Bastidas, Ava McEntire, and Jess Callahan finished 6^th with a time of 2:34.05.
Delanie McPeak finished 2^nd place in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:24.42. She finished 1^st place in the 200-yard free with a time of 2:10.36. She finished third in the 100-yard breast with a time of 1:17.09.
Keira Wiley finished 3^rd in the 100-yard fly with a time of 1:05.82. She finished 4^th in the 100-yard free with a time of 1:01.56. She finished 2^nd in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 29.77.
Ashley Batejan finished 1^st place in the 50-yard back with a time of 31.88. She finished 2^nd place in the 100-yard back with a time of 1:07.45.
Liz Ferguson finished 3^rd place in the 500-yard free with a time of 6:09.85. She finished 2^nd place in the 1000-yard free with a time of 12:23.88.
