IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team defeated Eastern University in a non-conference match 7-2 on Wednesday afternoon to earn their first win of the spring season.

The Mighty Macs would begin the afternoon sweeping all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead. The team of Jason Watts and Troy Watts won the first doubles match 8-2. In the second doubles match Nicholas Fleming and Jeremy Brown won 8-5, and in the third doubles match Alex Polidoro and Sean Chalmers won 8-6.

In singles action, Jason Watts lost the first singles match 3-6, 0-6. Nicholas Fleming won the second singles match 6-2, 6-1. Troy Watts lost the third singles match 6-4, 4-6, 4-10. Jeremy Brown won the fourth singles match 6-1, 6-3. Nicholas John won the fifth singles match 6-4, 6-2, and Marc Moncrief won the sixth singles match 7-5, 6-2.

The Immaculata men's tennis team will be back in action on Sunday, April 2^nd when they will visit Albright College with the match scheduled to start at 1:00 PM.
