IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata baseball team opened up their 2023 campaign Friday afternoon with a 16-8 loss to #19 ranked Ithaca College.

The Bombers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Mighty Macs fought hard until the end but could not fight all the way back. The Macs were led at the plate by senior backstop
Josh Crowding who was 2-3 on the day with two runs batted in to go along with two hit by pitches. Fellow senior
Frank Margiotta also went 2-3 with two walks in the contest. He also added three stolen bases on the day.

Louis Sharp had a 1-3 day with an RBI along with 2 HBPs. Freshman
Robert Woodward tallied his first career hit and pair of runs batted in as a Mighty Mac. Senior
Stephen DiBatista went 3 innings of scoreless baseball on the mound for Immaculata in relief.

The Immaculata baseball team will be back in action on Tuesday, February 28
th when they welcome Delaware Valley University into the Immaculata Baseball Stadium for a 3:00 start.
