IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata University women's swim team defeated Gallaudet University in an Atlantic East Conference meet on Friday evening 121-45
Prior to the meet, Immaculata honored their two seniors
Colleen Blakelock and
Emily Meyer for their hard work and dedication to the women's swimming program.
Senior
Colleen Blakelock set an Immaculata program record in the in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:52.50. Sophomore
Elizabeth Ferguson also beat the previous program record finishing with a personal best time of 5:57.05.

In the 200-yard medley relay, the team of
Veronica Pietrewicz,
Kaitlynne Chenard,
Madeline Casale, and
Jessica Kiederling finished first with a time of 2:25.52.
In the 1000-yard freestyle,
Emily Meyer finished first with a personal best time of 12:42.64.
Jessica Kiederling finished second with her season best time of 14:25.86, and
Veronica Pietrewicz finished third with a personal best time of 15:20.64.
In the 200-yard freestyle,
Elizabeth Ferguson finished first with a personal best time of 2:15.64.
In the 50-yard freestyle,
Jessica Kiederling finished third with a personal best time of 31.24.
In the 200-yard IM,
Joella Moyer finished first with her season best time of 2:26.47.
Colleen Blakelock finished second with her season best time of 2:27.01, and
Kaitlynne Chenard finished third with a personal best time of 2:54.96.
In the 100-yard butterfly,
Madeline Casale finished first with a personal best time of 1:14.90.
In the 100-yard freestyle,
Joella Moyer finished first with her season best time of 59.83.
In the 100-yard backstroke,
Madeline Casale finished first with a personal best time of 1:19.72.
In the 500-yard freestyle,
Colleen Blakelock finished first with an IU program record time of 5:52.50.
Elizabeth Ferguson finished second with a personal best time of 5:57.05 that is the second fastest time in IU program history.
Emily Meyer finished third with a time of 6:22.10.
In the 100-yard breaststroke,
Kaitlynne Chenard finished first with her season best time of 1:24.92.
Veronica Pietrewicz finished third with her season best time of 1:40.01.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the team of
Colleen Blakelock,
Emily Meyer,
Joella Moyer, and
Elizabeth Ferguson finished first with a time of 1:53.15.

This was the final home meet of the season and concludes the fall semester portion of the team's schedule.
The Immaculata women's swimming team will be back in action on Friday, January 12
th when they will visit Widener for a non-conference dual meet at 5:00 PM.
