Men's Swimming Falls to Gallaudet in Dual Meet

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Immaculata men's swimming team returned to action today when they travelled to Washington D.C. for a dual meet with Gallaudet University. Immaculata took first place in four events but dropped the dual meet to Gallaudet 93-53.

In the 200-yard freestyle Gabriel Bocaj earned the Mighty Macs first win of the day finishing first with a time of 1:54.46.

In the 50-yard freestyle William Lorenzo finished second place with a time of 27.67, and Daniel Thiel finished third with a time of 28.27.

Gabriel Bocaj earned his second win of the day in the 100-yard butterfly finishing first with a time of 58.26. Daniel Thiel took second place with a time of 1:09.75. In the 100-yard freestyle William Lorenzo finished second place with a time of 1:04.00.
In the 100-yard backstroke Jeremy Brown earned the Macs third win of the day finishing in first place with a time of 1:09.25.

In the final event of the day, the 200-yard freestyle relay the team of Jeremy Brown, Daniel Thiel, William Lorenzo, and Gabriel Bocaj finished first with a time of 1:46.92.

The Immaculata men's swimming team will be back in action on Saturday, January 21st when they travel to Marymount University for a tri-meet with Marymount and St. Mary's College of Maryland at 1:00 PM.
