RADNOR, Pa. – The Immaculata softball team was kept scoreless on Friday as they dropped game three of Pod B of the Atlantic East Tournament 12-0 against No. 2 Cabrini.
Cabrini scored first in game three of Pod play, scoring one run in the top of the first. Cabrini then added two additional runs in the top of the second, putting Immaculata into aa 3-0 deficit.
Later, in the top of the fourth, the Cavaliers put up nine runs on the inning to take a 12-0 lead over the Mighty Macs.
The Mighty Macs offense was unable to plate a runner on the game, recording three hits while walking four times.
Cat Knoll and
Sara Rode each walked twice for the Macs while
Kaitlyn Carter,
Alyssa Daly, and
Katy Newton recorded the Macs' hits.
With the loss, the Macs conclude their 2022 season. The Mighty Macs owned a 10-21 record overall on the season with a 6-6 record in Atlantic East play.
