ASTON, Pa. – The Immaculata men's tennis team dropped their Atlantic East matchup against Neumann 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon. The Mighty Macs now own a 2-2 record in conference play on the season.
Jason Watts and
Nicholas Fleming claimed victory in first doubles for the Macs, taking the set 8-2.
Jeremy Brown and
Nicholas John then dropped their second doubles match 8-1 while
Kevin Lyons and
Sean Chalmers dropped third doubles 8-0.
Moving into singles play, Watts won first singles with scores of 6-1, 7-6 while Fleming claimed second singles 6-3, 6-0. Brown then dropped third singles with two 6-1 decisions while John dropped a three-set fourth singles, winning the first set 7-5 before dropping the next two 6-1, 10-8. Chalmers and Lyons closed out the day for the Macs, dropping fifth and sixth singles with respective scores of 6-0, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-2.
