ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fl. – The Immaculata men's tennis team dropped its' match against Cornell College 9-0 on Sunday.
In first and second doubles, the Macs dropped 1-8 decisions as
Jason Watts and
Nicholas Fleming lost first doubles while
Jeremy Brown and
Nicholas John dropped second doubles.
Alex Polidoro and
Sean Chalmers then lost third doubles 0-8.
Moving into singles, Watts lost his first singles matchup with scores of 4-6 and 4-6 while Fleming dropped second singles. Brown, meanwhile, lost third singles 2-6 and 1-6 while John lost fourth singles with two 0-6 decisions. Polidoro and Chalmers closed out the competition in fifth and sixth singles, dropping their matches 2-6, 1-6 and 3-6, 0-6.
The Macs will return to action on Monday as they face Ohio Wesleyan.
