SCRANTON, Pa.- Immaculata men's swimming team was back in action on Sunday afternoon when the visited Marywood University at the pool at University of Scranton. Immaculata fell to Marywood by a score of 76-48.
In the 50-yard freestyle
William Lorenzo finished second place with a time of 27.33.
Gabriel Bocaj finished second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.13.
Jeremy Brown finished second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:17.58.
In the 500-yard freestyle
Jeremy Brown finished second with a time of 6:19.36.
Daniel Thiel finished in second place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:23.03.
William Lorenzo finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:25.25. In the 100-yard butterfly
Daniel Thiel finished second with a time of 1:06.52.
Gabriel Bocaj finished first in the 400-yard individual medley setting an Immaculata program record with a time of 4:37.26. The previous record time was 4:40.74 set in February of 2019 by John Batley.
In the final event of the afternoon the 400-yard freestyle relay. The team of

Gabriel Bocaj finished first with a time of 4:07.70.
Immaculata men's swimming have concluded the 2022 portion of their schedule. The Macs will return to action on Friday, January 13 when they travel to Frederick, MD for a tri-meet against Hood College and Gallaudet University at 1:00 PM.
