Men's Swimming Falls to Widener in Dual Meet

CHESTER, Pa.- The Immaculata men's swimming team was back in action on Wednesday evening as they visited Widener University for a dual meet. Immaculata fell to Widener by a score of 116 to 44.

In the first event of the evening the 400-yard medley relay the team of Jeremy Brown, William Lorenzo, Gabriel Bocaj, and Daniel Thiel finished second with a time 4:39.28.

In the 200-yard freestyle Gabriel Bocaj finished first place with a time of 1:51.60. Jeremy Brown finished fourth with a time of 2:15.79. In the 50-yard freestyle Daniel Thiel finished third with a time of 27.79, William Lorenzo finished fourth and Marchello Barile finished sixth with times of 28.45 and 29.99.

In the 100-yard butterfly Daniel Thiel finished second with a time of 1:13.19. In the 100-yard freestyle Gabriel Bocaj finished first with at time of 51.13. Marchello Barile finished fourth with a time of 1:15.69.

In the 100-yard backstroke William Lorenzo finished third with a time of 1:41.43. In the 500-yard freestyle Jeremy Brown finished third with a time of 6:10.17. In the 100-yard breaststroke Marchello Barile finished third with at time of 1:23.41

The Immaculata men's swimming team will be back in action on Saturday, November 12th when the travel to Marywood for an Atlantic East Conference meet starting at 1:00 PM.
