Men's Swimming Defeats Moravian in Dual Meet

ALLENTOWN, Pa.- The Immaculata men's swimming team defeated Moravian College in their dual meet on Saturday by a score of 86-49.

Immaculata began the day in the 200-yard Medley Relay were the team of Jeremy Brown, Marchello Barile, Gabriel Bocaj, and Daniel Thiel finished first with a time of 2:06.48. Jeremy Brown finished first in the 1,000-yard men's freestyle with a time of 13:27.48.

In the 200-yard freestyle Gabriel Bocaj finished first with a time of 1:55.18. Daniel Thiel finished in second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:19.34. Marchello Barile finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:22.70.

In the 50-yard freestyle William Lorenzo finished second with a personal best time of 27.43 and Daniel Thiel finished third with a time of 28.38. William Lorenzo finished first in the 100-yard freestyle with at time of 1:04.74.

In the 200-yard backstroke Jeremy Brown finished first with a time of 1:04.74. Marchello Barile finished second place in the 200-yard breaststroke with at time of 3:09.18. Gabriel Bocaj finished first in the 100-yard butterfly with at time of 56.22.

In the 200-yard freestyle relay the team of Gabriel Bocaj, Daniel Thiel, Jeremy Brown, and William Lorenzo finished first overall with a time of 1:47.47.

The Immaculata men's swimming team is back in action on Wednesday, November 9th when the travel to Widener University for a dual meet at 5:00 PM.
