ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.- The Immaculata men's swimming team split results in their tri-meet, defeating Goucher 106-61 and losing to Elizabethtown 203-35.
In the first event the 200-yard medley relay the team of
Jeremy Brown,
Marchello Barile,
Gabriel Bocaj, and
Daniel Thiel finished third with at time of 2:04.10.
In the 200-yard freestyle
Gabriel Bocaj finished first overall with a time of 1:53.06. This was Immaculata's only first-place finish of the day.
In the 50-yard backstroke
Jeremy Brown finished third overall with a time of 32.77.
In the 50-yard breaststroke
Marchello Barile finished fifth overall with a time of 36.45.
William Lorenzo finished in sixth with a personal best time of 37.74.
In 100-yard butterfly
Gabriel Bocaj finished in third overall with a time of 57.34.
In the 50-yard freestyle
Daniel Thiel finished in seventh overall with a time of 29.21.
Marchello Barile finished in eighth with a time of 32.62.
In the 100-yard freestyle
William Lorenzo finished in fifth overall with a time of 1:03.30.
In the 100-yard breaststroke
Marchello Barile finished fifth with a time of 1:23.51.
William Lorenzo finished in seventh with a time of 1:30.20.
In the 500-yard freestyle
Jeremy Brown finished in third overall with a time of 6:31.62.
In the 50-yard butterfly
Daniel Thiel finished in fifth with a personal best time of 30.05.
In the final event of the day the 200-yard freestyle relay, the team of
Daniel Thiel,
Jeremy Brown,
William Lorenzo, and
Gabriel Bocaj finished in third overall with a time of 1:47.65.
The Immaculata men's swimming team is back in action on Saturday, October 29
th when they compete in a dual meet vs. Moravian University in Allentown, PA at 10:00 AM.
