ARLINGTON, VA.- Immaculata men's swimming capped off its regular season with a 95-57 setback against Marymount. The Mighty Macs doubled its win total from a year ago and has set several school records in the season.
Conor Farrell broke his own record in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a winning time of 11:12.14. He lowered his program-best time by 14 seconds. Farrell added a second place showing in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.86.
David Crowell placed second in the 200-yard freestyle after touching the wall in 2:14.49. Crowell had a personal-best time of 6:09.43 in the 500-yard freestyle.
Joseph Duddy placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with time of 26.08.
John Batley set a personal and program-best in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:11.26. He also added a runner-up finish after touching the wall in 59.21 during the 100-yard backstroke.
William Lorenzo finished third in 100-yard freestyle. Duddy and Lorenzo placed second and third respectively in the 100-yard breaststroke with Lorenzo setting a personal-best in the event.
The 400-yard freestyle team capped the event with a winning time of 4:07.57
The Mighty Macs will head to Scranton, PA for the Atlantic East Championships from February 14th-16th.
