Tischler Named Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach

IMMACULATA, Pa.- Immaculata University Director of Athletics and Recreation, Amy Badorf, announced on Tuesday afternoon the hiring of Jake Tischler as the Head men's and women's golf coach for the 2019-20 season. Tischler, a 2014 Immaculata graduate and former golf team member returns to campus after completing his fifth season as the Golf Coach at the Woodlynde School in Strafford, Pennsylvania.

During his time at Immaculata, Tischler earned Conference All-Academic team accolades and the Anderson Medal for Excellence in Mathematics upon Graduation in recognition of his efforts in the classroom over the course of his four years.

Tischler who earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Immaculata in May 2014 has been employed as a teacher in the Mathematics and Physics Department at the Woodlynde School since October 2014. He has also held other administrative roles on campus including his duties as the Registrar administrator, Golf Coach, and Basketball coach during his time in Strafford. Tischler also possesses coaching experience on the Rugby pitch as he served as a coach with the Downingtown Rugby FC team leading the program to three state Championships and a fifth-place finish in the High School Rugby National Championship Tournament.
