IU Falls In Non-Conference Contest At Cabrini

RADNOR, Pa.- The Mighty Mac baseball team (20-14) took on the Cabrini Cavaliers (29-7) in a non-conference game on Sunday afternoon, and the Cavaliers scored in six of the first seven innings as the Macs couldn't keep up in a 13-6 defeat.
 
Senior Tom Prato had a big game at the plate with three hits, a three-run home run, and four runs driven in.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Cavaliers got to sophomore Gabe Hollenbach for four runs in the first and another in the second to take a 5-0 lead
-The Mighty Macs cut into the deficit in the top of the third with singles by junior Zach Van Meter and senior Tyler Kmiec before Prato drilled a three run home run to left to make it 5-3
-Cabrini added a run in the third before sophomore Nick DeSantis tossed a shut out frame in the fourth with the Macs trailing 6-3
-The Cabrini offense didn't stop as they scored seven runs over the next three inning to take 13-3 lead through seven
-The Macs plated three in the ninth on RBIs by sophomore Ty Esenwein, freshman Joey Sacco, and Prato
