CHESTER, Pa.- The Immaculata University women's swimming team was back in action on Saturday afternoon in a dual meet against Widener. The Mighty Macs dropped the meet by the score of 161-22 but saw several swimmers set new personal records.
Elizabeth Herlihey had the top finish for the Mighty Macs after placing second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:02.00.

Maya Schilp,
Kate Angelichio and
Cassandra Thiel all competed in the event and placed fourth through seventh.
Herlihey added a fourth-place finish in 50-yard freestyle after touching the wall in 29.83. She also placed fourth in the 500-yard freestyle. She scored eight of the team's 22 points in the setback.
Catherine Wiest set a personal record in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:55.70 and added a third-place showing in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
Angelichio added a personal-best in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:53.42. Schilp set personal-highs in the 100 and 200-yard freestyle.
Immaculata has its first conference meet on November 16 as the Macs travel to Marywood at 1 p.m.
