SCRANTON, Pa.- The Immaculata University men's swimming team was back in action on Saturday afternoon with a conference tri-meet against Marywood and Marymount. The Might Macs fell to Marywood 126-45 and Marymount 145-41.
Conor Farrell had the top finish on the day and won the 100-yard freestyle with a program-record time of 54.49. William Lorenzo placed fifth in the event with a personal best time of 1:05.32.
Farrell added second place finishes in the 200 and 500-yard freestyles. He picked up a time of 1:59.08 during the 200-yard race. Lorenzo also competed in the 200 freestyle and placed fifth.
David Crowell had a top finish for the Macs and touched the wall in 2:50.15 to place second in the 200-yard breaststroke. Crowell added fourth place finishes in the 1,000 Freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke.
Lorenzo placed sixth in 50 free with a new personal best time of 28.35.
Immaculata will be back in action on November 23 for a tri-meet against the Juniata and Bethany beginning at 2 p.m.
