Junior Kelly Brown has been chosen as the Mighty Mac of the Week on February 28 following the women's basketball team's run to the Colonial States Athletic Conference championship game.

Brown came off the bench in all three tournament games last week to average 12.3 points and six rebounds per contest. Brown scored double figures in two of the Mighty Macs' three games last week.

She began the week posting 12 points in Immaculata's quarterfinal win against Centenary. She was instrumental in Immaculata advancing to the championship game as she put up 18 points, including a 7-for-7 effort from the foul line, and grabbed nine rebounds against Marywood in the semifinals.

In the final against Neumann, Brown scored seven points and had seven rebounds.

Brown finishing the 2010-11 season averaging 8.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per contest during 27 outings.
