Immaculata University

Junior guard Bridget Welz from the women's basketball team was selected as the Immaculata University Mighty Mac of the Week on Monday, Dec. 6.

Welz averaged 13.5 points and 8.0 rebounds during a 1-1 week for the Mighty Macs to lead the squad in both categories. She also chipped in a total of six assists and six steals.

Welz helped Immaculata to an 89-61 win against Cedar Crest with 20 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals. She went 7-for-7 from the foul line against the Falcons. Earlier in the week in a 58-55 loss to Neumann, Welz led the Mighty Macs on the glass with 10 rebounds.
