Sophomore forward Maureen Town of the Immaculata field hockey team was selected as the Mighty Mac of the Week for the week ending Sept. 14. Town also received player of the week accolades from the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC). 

Town propelled Immaculata to a 2-0 week, in which she recorded three points off one goal and one assist. Town scored the game-winning goal in overtime to defeat Albright, 1-0, last Wednesday. Then in Immaculata’s 5-1 victory over Bryn Mawr on Saturday, Town assisted on the Mighty Macs’ second goal of the contest.
