Jamie Green of the Immaculata Softball Team is our Mighty Mac of the Week!
Freshman Jamie Green enjoyed an impressive start to her collegiate career for Immaculata at the Fast Pitch Dreams Spring Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Over eight games during the tournament, Green hit .370 (10-for-27) while scoring six runs and driving in eight RBIs. She also recorded two doubles and two triples as the Mighty Macs finished the week 4–4.
Green delivered several clutch moments throughout the event. In Monday’s 2–1 win over New Jersey City University, her two-run double accounted for the game’s winning margin.
On Tuesday against Bridgewater State, Green came through again, hitting a walk-off double in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Immaculata a 3–2 victory.
She capped off the week with another standout performance in Friday’s win over Thiel College, recording four RBIs on an RBI single and a bases-clearing triple.
