Abigail Boyer of the women’s basketball team is our Mighty Mac of the Week.
Boyer scored a combined 36 points, with five rebounds, and six steals over three games this week, helping lead Immaculata to a pair of wins. Boyer shot 6-7 from the field, scoring 13 points in Immaculata’s win over Rosemont on December 2nd. Boyer scored a team-high 18 points shooting 4-7 from behind the arc in helping lead Immaculata to come from behind win at Widener on Saturday.
With Immaculata trailing by 10 points late in the third quarter, Boyer began the comeback with a three-pointer. She would score on a layup and hit another three-pointer to begin the fourth quarter to pull Immaculata even at 43-43, the Mighty Macs would not tail again as they went on to win 60-51.
