Peter McHugh recorded a strong week for the Mighty Macs as they opened the 2021-22 indoor season at the Bow Tie Invitational. McHugh broke the program record in the 60-meter dash with his 7.58 second finish in the preliminary round. He then placed 12^th overall on the event with a finals time of 7.61 seconds. McHugh also finished in 23^rd in the 200-meter with a time of 26.13. Additionally, McHugh participated in the 4x400 meter relay team, finishing seventh overall with a time of 4:00.40.
