Ava Thorley had an impressive opening week for Immaculata as the sophomore led the team in kills in each of the first two matches while playing an integral role in the Macs comeback victory at Cairn on Sunday. On Thursday evening in the season opener, Thorley logged eight kills while also registering three blocks and nine digs in the season opening setback vs Cedar Crest. On Saturday morning at Cairn, Thorley helped pilot the Macs to their first win of the young season with 15 kills and 22 digs in the exciting five-set comeback victory.
